About Us

Our History:

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:6).

Emmanuel Pentecostal Church began in November 1994 after the divine guidance received by Rev. Mathew Oommen, while spending time in fasting and prayer. Pastor Mathew Oommen and his family were the only members in the inception of the church. However, the Lord added more people to the congregation in a short while.

The fellowship was registered with the Secretary of the State of Texas in January 1995 as Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of Houston and affiliated with the Indian Pentecostal Church of God, Kumbanadu, Kerala, India. Worshiping in rented buildings for ten years, the church bought the current property in June 2003 through divine providence. In 2009, the church expanded to the present condition.
