He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:6).
Emmanuel Pentecostal Church was begun in November 1994 after the divine guidance received by Rev. Mathew Oommen, while spending days seeking God in fasting and prayer. In the beginning, the members were only Pastor and his family. As weeks went by, the Lord added more people to the church.
The fellowship was registered with the Secretary of the State of Texas in January 1995 as Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of Houston. EPC is now affiliated with the Indian Pentecostal Church of God, Kumbanadu, Kerala, India. Worshiping the Lord in rented buildings for almost 10 years, the Lord helped the church to buy the current property in June 2003. In 2009, we were able to rebuild our church to its present state with a bigger sanctuary by the grace of God.
